Mountains represent nature at its finest and are icons for the wild back country. They are the anti-thesis of the structured and noisy mess that is modern London. I don't find it sad that these piles of debris are the closest thing I could find to mountains, just as I am not overly perturbed by the bland gray skies that loom over them in every photograph.

Both are identifiers to the fact that the photographs are taken in London, a city of industry.
